In this day and age, we’re pretty confident buyers. We don’t insure everything we purchase off the internet because we’re pretty sure everything will arrive in one piece, exactly the way you bought it.
Are you wondering what the benefits of travel insurance are? Look no further! Contiki gives you the ins and outs of travel insurance.
What exactly IS travel insurance?
Travel insurance is comprehensive insurance cover for cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury, death, medical expenses, etc. In the event any of these things occur, having travel insurance can alleviate many travel woes.
What are some examples of what is covered under travel insurance?
Depending on the coverage you purchase, you can be covered for anything from flight cancellations to hospital visits in case of an emergency while you are traveling. If you plan on participating in activities that require you to sign a liability waiver (i.e. sky-diving), you should consider getting insurance for your trip.
Does Contiki offer a travel protection plan?
Yes. The Contiki Travel Protection Plan, offered through Berkely, can help protect yourself against cancellation penalties, medical costs, baggage loss and delays, as well as gain access to a wide range of traveler’s assistance services.
What does it cover?
The Contiki Travel Protection Plan includes pre-trip cancellation protection and post-departure coverage for the following:
