I was wondering, of course theres probably many in the city, but can anyone recommend or know of any nice restaurants in venice, not outrageously expensive, but nice, for say someones birthday, semi-romantic to have dinner?

Stay away from anything on Piazza San Marco … they have ridiculous amounts fees tacked onto the bill due to the prime location. Two cups of coffee might run you 50-70 Euros!
