Going to Hollywood after Wild Western Trip

I was thinking of going to Hollywood on the day of my flight (departs LAX 10.30pm), I would like to do some shopping and sightseeing and do not want to carry my luggage around with me URGHHH!!!! Has anyone any ideas as to where I could store my luggage while buzzing around in Hollywood. I have thought of getting the blue shuttle bus back to LAX and storing it with one of the external companies and then getting transport from there to the Sunset Strip, but it seems like this is way out of the way. If anyone knows of any storage places in Hollywood that would be a great help. I also thought of catching the train from Anaheim to Hollywood, if this more realistic and less stressful. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have no idea!! Thanks for any help you can give. Also one more question, if I am not pushing it - my tour is in the first week of October, what is the weather like - what clothes should I bring.
