london hotel voucher - does it have to be used day one?

we're going on the euro discovery tour that includes a one night stay in London (day 2 on the contiki itinerary) before hopping on a bus to amsterdam first thing the next day. is there any flexibility to use the voucher a day earlier?
since we want to have more time in amsterdam, my hubs and i were hoping to fly into london a day earlier, using the contiki london hotel stay a night earlier (day 1 instead of 2), and take the overnight train over after the pre-departure meeting with contiki on day 2.
any advice/thoughts is much appreciated!
