internet access & credit cards

I'm interested in doing the new york explorer and wild western. Is there internet access in the places you stay on those tours? i don't have a laptop, so i'd be relying on free or pay by the hour internet access to get in contact with family back home, and do i need to always have cash on me? or can i just use my credit card everywhere?

There is internet around, though it’s not as common as some other cities. You’ll have to keep your eyes open for it. You can use your credit card in most places, but I would have some cash. You might find fast food restaurants, smaller stores don’t accept credit cards. Also Taxi’s sometimes cannot be paid for with credit cards and tips are usually in cash.
