Luggage Weighing NOT in London?

So I know Contiki is really strict about luggage weight on the tours leaving from London, they weigh each piece etc etc etc.
What about on tours that leave from elsewhere, say, Athens? I'm going on one of the cruises and was just wondering if my bag is a few ounces over if it'll be as big a problem as it seems with the London tours. Do they weigh them in Athens also? It would make sense for them to be more lenient since it's a cruise and there won't be any baggage moving except for at the beginning and end - just wondering if anyone has any insight - thanks!
