generator hostel

hi everyone,

im leaving in about 2 weeks for my contrasts trip, and im just trying to sort out some accommodation for after the tour ends. im looking at staying at the generator in london for a couple of nights, but im slightly concerned after ive seen comments people have made about the security of their belongings. have any of you that have stayed there had things stolen? if i stay in a dorm room, where can i leave things like airline tickets, travellers cheques etc? what about your suitcase or backpack? would it be worth spending the extra and going back to the royal national? the last thing i want is to find that i have had things stolen when im out of my dorm.
