any heads up on how long people usually wait?

My tour in the states starts in less than 7 weeks and I have maybe spoken to 10 people so far! I booked my tour in nov but my first contiki trip to europe in 2001 i booked 18 months in advance. It depends but it pays to book early as you can save money but some people like to wait incase the tour gets cancelled!
