Rental Sleeping Bags?

10 May 2010 AspiringAshley asked

Just wondering about the sleeping bags you rent for budget trips. Are they clean and normal? Or should I just invest in a silk sleep sack?

Sleeping bags are for purchase – not rent. Kinda like a toothbrush Wink<!--graemlin:;)-->

I’m coming from the US and the papers said that I’ll be given a sleeping bag when I arrive in London to use for the trip. I thought it said rental, but I could be mistaken. You mean that they’re giving me a free sleeping bag?

Bookings made from North America have their sleeping bags included in the price.

what do people from north america usually do with them after? I just don’t really want to lug it back home with me, since I already have one here!

Bring it home as a souvenir? Give it away. Garbage it.

Alrighty, guess I’ll find something to do with a free sleeping bag! I think I also saw that they sell towels at the basement? Are they a decent size, or teeny tiny?
