What is the weather like in Europe during early September? Will it still be reasonably warm out, or will it be a bit colder?
Can anyone tell me what the weather on the French Riviera is like in mid-september? Will it be too cold to go swimming/enjoy the beach? I want to be able to relax on the beach, but I also want to be in Munich during Oktoberfest.
I need to decide soon, so thanks for the advice! I'm hoping some experts can help me choose!!!

I toured at that time (albeit back in 2001)!
We had a day of pouring rain in Paris, ponchos and all.
Everyone was swimming in Nice, beautiful sunny days.
Greece was bloody hot. Great for George’s Boat.
Switzerland had snow. Snow fights anyone?
It really was a mixed bag and while you might get the odd rainy day odds are sun will prevail. If you can’t swim in Nice you probably will be able to in Greece…take a chance!- 0 people like this
