attraction tickets, hand luggage ?'s

I was wondering if anyone knows if you are able to get tickets from Contiki for various attractions like The Louvre, Colosseum, the vatacin, etc...I have heard the lines are insane and wanted to know b4 hand...
Also when they say you are allowed one piece of hand luggage on the bus do they mean like a tote bag that can stay behind while you are in the city or???
I leave in like 5 days so any help is appreciated...Thx
