Leaving stuff on the bus...

I'm doing the Euro Discovery which means I'll be on the bus a lot...
If I have a small bag with say a pillow/blanket/cards/magazine can I leave this on the bus?
From what I've read some places we stop and do things before we're dropped off at the hotel...I just didn't want to have to carry a day bag and then another one full of stuff I don't really need when off the bus?
Did that make sense? lol
