Luggage Size in EU - help please

Hey,

Decided to actually measure my suitcase today - it's just slightly over all the Contiki measurements: 1cm over in width and depth and 3.5cm over in length. How strict are they on enforcing the size (it'll be max 12kg - most stuff is being left @ Aunts place in UK) - i know it has something to do with EU laws.

Moderators please help - I really don't want to buy a new suit case, but don't want to be repacking @ 6:45 am

I do not think you should have a problem. In previous posts the moderators have said the size is not as critical as the weight and as long as you fall within the weight restrictions there should be no problem.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I’m doing the European whirl this summer. My backpack fits the size measurements however it has an Internal frame. Will this be okay??
