Optional Excursions plus other bits?

Hello all,
I am off on the Northern Escape (leaving from Chicago June 1st)
Does anyone have any ideas on the cost of other activities not included on the optional excursions list?
I know when I did Europe with Contiki there where things we forked out for on top of usual stuff.
I'm not cheap but coming to the end of a long trip with limited funds, and need to budget!
Was looking at round $50US per day
Any help would be great!
