You should be alright as i dont have my pre Tour meeting till like 8.30pm. But if you feel like you are going to miss it the best advice i can give you is to tell contiki staff at the contiki basement. that you may not be able to get back in time and they will tell you what you need to do.

our tour meeting was at 7 and they told us it was essential that we go there. the tour manager and driver like to meet you and go through the first days events and you have to give them your passport so they can check you off the list.

Some of my tourmates didnt turn up for the meeting and they got on fine…so don’t worry too much about missing it
