All the early mornings are going to kill me. Although when your on holidays it’s not as hard. Everyday will be a new exciting day.

Yeah that’s how I feel about being back in Alice, as much as I hate living here, it’s been great to be at home with my family and friends. Work is crap though. Definately time to leave. Desert weather is not good for the skin either, don’t want to age before I have too. HE HE.

haha are you planning on going back to Alice when you get back from OS?

  • 17 Jul 2007 Kathryn83 said

No I don’t think so. My parents are leaving this time next year so not really much point. It’s a great place for work and we have heaps of friends to stay with, but this town really isn’t me or Bec. Plus I need to live near water!!!!

I don’t know what the hell I’m going to do when I get back. Can’t think that far ahead.

  • 17 Jul 2007 Miss_Beth said

Well Alice is definitely as far from the water as you can get! lol. I dunno what I will do either. I love Melbourne, but then I like Canberra too.. Maybe I will find a prince overseas and end up staying forever! lol. It’s all too far ahead, you’re right!

    Some other helpful hints:

When on plane it is important to get up and walk around periodically to avoid developing deep vein thrombosis (or however it’s spelled)
Also, drink plenty of fluids which can lessen effects of jet lag.

Bring disposable camera (s). You never know when your camera could stop working and there’s nothing worse than not being able to take photos.

Put some sort of marking such as a ribbon on your suitcase to make it stand out. It’s always difficult to pick out your luggage off the baggage carousel so may as well make it somewhat easier.

Bring nice clothing for going out at night. the kind you’d wear to going to a club or nice restaurant.

Hope that helps. If you need any more specific or general advice feel free to ask.
