Air Conditioning on Budget Tours (?)

Hi!
I have read in a few posts the concern about AC on these tours. I plan on taking the London to Rome (maybe Athens) in '09 - a budget tour. Do the facilities have AC? If not, do they have ceiling fans? Any recommendations???
