  I’m going on my own! I was wondering if it’s possible to try out skiing or snowboarding while we’re there? Ive never been near the snow before and it’d be awesome to give it a go, I mean I love to surf and skateboard.. how hard can skiing be?? Haha

  Sarah, From having done this tour before and the European Vista I know there is no place to try skiing or snowboarding. Although if we get to go up Mt. Pilatus there will be plenty of snow. But no slopes to do anything on.

  Nothing you really need to know. Just have fun. Have enough money available if you can. For me the US dollar is still pretty weak right now. Hopefully the Aus. Dollar is better for you. It’s going to be a great trip.

  I’m staying at the Royal National. Thought I’d get a lot of sightseeing in, it’s the first time I’ll be on my own overseas which I’m looking forward to! Then after the tour I have to get back to Oz for uni.
