I have been onto and the reviews for the Royal National aren't too good.

Has anyone stayed here? What did you think??

It is a standard Hotel that provides the bare essentials you require. You are always going to here good and bad reports but it is central and reasonably priced and that will do me just fine.

I thought it was good enough. Although, like most hotels in Europe, there was no AC which was a bit painful. The other thing that was a bit irritating was that I was in a triple, and anytime someone would come in the room it would deactivate the other 2 peoples keys. I was not given a clear answer if it was just my room or all triples, but from what I could gather it happened often. Luckily someone was always in the room.

For a hotel it was good enough. I think I would have preferred to just hostel it though.
