Hi Ash, I have the same problem. It’s hard to get info in between summer & winter hey?

From what I have heard from people & seen on the net, it’s jeans & t-shirt weather, carry a light jacket in case it gets cool during the day & something heavier at night.

Hope this helps a little Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->

hi Ash try packing light. sept /oct can be warm still but cool in evenings along the coast. Plan on layering. Also a nice light weight leather coat can be dressed up or down. Take a look at the packing list i have created. also look at contikipedia for more advice. If you cant wear it more than 3 times you don’t really need it except for a nice outfit for going out. And only bring 3 pairs of shoes, one sandals, walking and 1 dressy. Plus you will end up buying along the way garunteed! Only take 1 or 2 pairs of jeans try to stick with capris. Also purchasing light weight wrinkle free travel clothing might save you some space and weight in your bag.

Mid weather is the best as it is not too cold nor hot. I found that through the day skirts and jeans…on the bus trackys, with a shirt or nicer singlet. Always have a light jumper as well incase the weather is bad for the day. For the night time i always wore dresses, or a styled outfit. Considering it looks better and alot of the time you are going out for dinner or clubs. You will know if it is going to be a cold night before you leave the hotel, decide then if you need a light jacket. I wore nice thongs through the day and heals at night. Only very few times did i wear shoes. Don’t forget your sunnies and make up to cover the lack of sleep around your eyes and panadole…

Can you wear jeans most nights out? Like nice jeans with a dressy top and some nice flats or heels? Is that like, nice enough? Or do you need to dress up more and jeans aren’t appropriate? I know in some palces, like casinos you can’t, and I’m prepared for that, but in general can you wear some ‘night’ jeans?

Questions?
