Should I bring my laptop?
11 Nov 2006 *Mels* asked
First time Contiki traveller here gearing up for my European Encounter in Jan 07 SOLO.
I was wondering if it is worth bringing my laptop. It's only small (12") and would be really handy for downloading photos and keeping my travel diary etc. I'm confident that it will fit in my day pack and it doesn't really weigh too much. I'm just worried about security I guess.
Anybody taken a laptop before? Any suggestions?
Cheers
Mel

Leave it at home. It’s not worth the hassle to have to worry about it being secure and protected all the time.

definately, definately, LEAVE IT AT HOME!!!!!
there are too many other things to do and see rather than spending time on your laptop. you have all the time in the world when you get home to do your travel diary and upload photos – enjoy the trip while it is there!!!!!- 0 people like this
