USA WEATHER IN JULY

My best friend and I are heading to the US in July and I am not sure what the weather is going to be like. I know that it is their summer in July but not too sure how hot it will be if you know what I mean!
We are doing the Wild Western - California, Nevada and Phoenix.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hot… In some places humid too (though not in Phoenix). San Fran will probably be a little more mild, but expect temps above 100 degrees in Phoenix.

Nevada—100+ is very likely. Not humid though.
Phoenix—also 100-ish. Humid.
California—Depends where you’re going. Southern Cali will be hot hot hot but northern Cali is much more mild.- 0 people like this

So if i pack dresses, shortsm skirts, singlets etc, I should be fine? maybe a cardigan and some leggings?

Mostly hot but when I went to San Fran last July most of us were cold – wore jeans and I even pulled out a jacket.
