insurance quote question

3 Apr 2008 DevonK said

Question: when getting quotes how much do you put down for the cost of your trip/person.

I'm from Canada and currently my costs are:

Euro Discovery Tour - 2095
Couple nights in London - 477
and flight - 777

Total cost 3349. When I put down this amount as my cost per trip I get quotes in the $200+ range (from places like Royal Bank of Canada) which I know is a bit higher than others have been paying. Am I doing something wrong??

I don't mind the $200, I just don't want to feel like I'm paying more than I should.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.
