advice: travelling to alice springs

I am planning a trip to Alice & Uluru (9-14 mar) & will be flying in from Singapore. What's the best way to get to Alice SPrings?
All of the international flights go to Adelaide, Darwin or Perth. So I need a transfer. Is a connecting flight the way to go (they r exp!)? Any other alternatives? I'll be traveling solo, with a suitcase. any advice?
thanks!

Best way if you are coming through singapore would be to get a connection through Darwin but I wouldnt worry too much if you need to use two different airlines and therefore check in again at Darwin, its a VERY small airport and not at all difficult to navigate.
The airline you will be looking at for this is QANTAS.- 0 people like this

There is a bus that goes from Alice tu Uluru takes about 5 1/2 hours. They stop about every 2 hours or so for food ect. The busses are nice its a cheaper alternative. You can fly but they only fly from certain dates. I’d look into the bus. Its not bad.

Thanks, so much guys!=)
I checked out the domestic flights & they are quite expensive-though I may take them as a last resort. = |
I read about a 21 hour Greyhound bus ride from Adelaide which costs about half that of a domestic ticket. are these good?- 0 people like this
