European Contrast tour?

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone that has been on the european contrast tour recently could let me know how it was?

how was the accomodation?

how long were you on the bus for each day?

Any information would be very appreciated as im planning to take this tour 2010

I did the tour starting 21st April 09…

It was unbelievable. awesome to the power of sick!

Seriously, you cant go wrong on this.

Some days on the bus are long, but you get used to it and there was never a dull moment anyway.

I suggest packing some party spirit and some crazy music and then all else will fall in place.

Lodgings were cool, some little awkward, nothing worth worrying about!

Hey I’m doing the European Contrasts tour but havent chosen a date to do it.. I guess im wondering which would be the best time to go?

Booking in December so just ironing out the dates so would be nice to receive some information about it? Cheers

Im going to valencia spain on the 23rd of august for the tomato festival! then ibiza for a few days. Then back to london to do the tour 
I wana leave round his time coz i also wanna to go to oktober fest, which this tour will go to 
Thats the plan anyway, still gotta book it all, but will be doing it very soon

Cooper_03 there isnt currently a tour that is leaving on the 25th June… the dates are 23rd or 27th =) If your on the 27th June let me know as this is the tour im doing =)

Im on a gap year before university at the minute and i am definitely considering this one! Im thinking of leaving sometime in June, maybe the 23rd! Would love to hear from anyone thinking of going around then, you can email me on printisdead@hotmail.co.uk if you wish. hey guys, me and i friend (both 21) are all booked in for the european contrasts tour on the 23rd June. Sooooo Excited!!!!!! If anyone has any advice for us please please let us know as this is the first time on contiki for both of us. Hopefully meet some of ya soon xx

Absolutely loved this tour! I went in the spring 2007 and had the best time. I even met my husband on tour (I’m from the states and he’s an aussie) Make sure you do the optionals. George’s boat is a must!

My sister and I are going on our first Contiki tour and European Contrasts is the one we decided on. We’re going on the Sept 9th one… any advice or experiences anyone would like to share? Or is anyone else leaving on this date?

Hi guys n gals,

I went on this tour in June last year, and it was AMAZING!!
You get a really good balance of free time and organised activities, and I felt like I got a good taste of everything I wanted to see and now know where I want to go back to in future )

We had a great tour manager and driver too, which helps. The food on our tour was pretty good, nothing I turned my nose up at at all, and the accomodation was equally good – the only place a little dodgy was Rome, but when we were there they were building new accomodation, so it should be fine by the time you get there. The bars at the accomodaiton are also great if you feel like a few drinks (or shots :P) with your tour mates, and the bus time and meal times/socialising at night really bring everyone together.

I will attempt to post a travelogue soon… but if you have any other specific quesitons before then, feel free to ask :O)

I am so jealous of you all – you will have the trip of a lifetime!!
