go! you shouldn’t have a problem. on my tours i have people literally aged 18-35!
on my last tour there were a fair few of ‘us’ in our late twenties (probably about 15-20 out of a bus of 51) and we all got along just fine.
yes, you will have your share of the younger crowd who are there to get smashed and run amok every night. if that is not your thing then don’t mix with them – there will plenty of other people for you to talk to and go out with.
also remember, the trip is what you make it. if you go along thinking you’re an old fuddy duddy then that’s probably what you’re going to emit! if you like to party and have a good time then it doesn’t matter how old you are!
I’m 26 and don’t like a massive party scene so I did my thing during the day and at night, even if most were going out I would go back to the hotel if that’s what i wanted to do. i didn’t care what others thought because it was my trip and i paid for it so i was going to make it what i wanted!
hope this helps, email if you need more info…- 0 people like this

I’ll be 32 on the European Contrasts later this year. I’m not concerned about being slightly older than the average on tour, as in my experience (this tour is my fourth) its not the age of a person that dictates how much you enjoy your holiday. One of my tours had a 37 y/o as well as 18y/o. Everyone got along great, which is how it should be! Age just didn’t come into it!!!!!!!

Well I guess I’ll be one of the oldest yet. I’m 34 and I have been waiting to do a trip to Europe for 10 years…
Hey, good for you…I’m not far behind you! A friend and I just booked the European Discovery tour in October later this year and we’ll both be 33 by the time we go. Sure, we might be at the upper end of the bracket, but you know, for those who are in our age group and are still “worrying” over the age thing, guess what, one day you’ll be 40 and you’ll look back and regret you didn’t go before you were 35. I’ve never been into the whole “tour bus/party” type trip as I’ve been doing more Intrepid/Gap style trips, but I’ve always been curious about Contiki type trips and now I want to do it before its too late!
