30 Aug 2007 Hipjaz, the canuck from the T-Dot asked

Hi there. I just picked up my intinerary and travel documentation from contiki for my Euro Escapade tour departing Sept 13. i was reading my documentation and it said for my tour, i will be needing to bring a sleeping bag and a day bag for the overnight stops?
my travel agent told me that i didn't have to bring a sleeping bag.

also, the day bag, i thought the bus would drive us to our hotel, unload our suitcases and we'd bring them to the hotel room and use them, as suppose to me taking out clothes i think i will wear, plus toiletries and carry them in a bag seperate from the bag i'll carry with me throughout the day to keep my documents in and maybe a water bottle and a pack of gum

i'm a bit confuded. right now, i'm seeing it as me bringing 1. my suitase 2. my carry on bag 2. a sleeping bag 4. a day bag for overnight stops and 5. my water and pack of gum bag.

please tell me i'm wrong as this is A LOT to be carrying. i'm trying to travel light

Thanks!
