American asking questions about European hotels . . .

I've seen one or two pictures of hotel rooms contikis have stayed in during their European travels - they look VERY different from most American hotels. A few hopefully-not-too-stupid questions:

Do most of the hotel rooms have a clock / alarm clock?
How about a/c?
Iron and ironing board?
I plan to do some wash in the bathroom sink every few days - do the bathrooms have shower bars I can drape clothes on to dry?

    some have alarm clocks, but not all, bring your own.

    Most do not have AC, especially in the more northern areas of europe.

    I"ll go with a no on the iron and ironing board – try folding tissue paper into your clothes to prevent wrinkles.

    Most have shower bars, but not all. I would bring some string to hang clothes on.

    right i pretty much agree with the previous post. we had no alarm clocks in any place we stayed – we used our mobile phones.

    No air con

    No iron or ironing board

    only one hotel i was in had a rail.
