  Its not too bad compared to other hotels and i think thats where we all meet. Ive heard a lot of people stay there that are going on contiki. Ive booked the night b4 (Aug 25th) and the night we get back (Sept 7th i think), just because we have an early morning start when we leave, and when the tour ends, we could get back to London between 5-8pm. So im not gonna catch the tube when its dark to meet up again with my friend. You should ask your travel agent, they’ll be able to give you all the details and prices. I also booked a twin share room because its cheaper. How many days b4 the tour do you arrive in London?

  Hey, i got a call from my travel agent today and she said our tour that leaves on the 26th is cancelled because there weren’t enough people, so i have transferred to the one leaving on the 28th now. That tour is a guaranteed departure so thought that would be safer. So im now staying at the Royal the 27th of Aug and the 8th of Sept instead.
  
  You may need more than one day to look around London, theres heaps to do and if you have jetlag, you’ll be really tired when you start contiki the day after?!
  
  Let me know what you decide to do, but i thought i’d let you know what the situation is. And yeah, i think its a good idea to book your flights etc soon! Have you already booked the contiki tour?

  Hey, yeah the tour im booked on now is definately the 28th, i just checked the booked and its ticked as a guaranteed departure. Contiki gave me the choice of the 23rd Aug tour or the 28th. Its all confirmed i have a copy of the paper work. What has your travel agent said?

  hiya!! I booked online, and it said that it was a gd… I actually requested a brochure a couple of days ago and the 28th start date is listed as a gd and not the 26th.. The 28th gd isnt even listed online… L O L now im confused… i may have to give them a call…
