Hey guys,
Seems that both trips, one that ends in Queenstown and the longer trip, the one that continues on to Christchurch, will be on the same bus. Any of you two coming in a day early to auckland? I’m pretty sure I’ll be still trying to recover from jet lag but would love to explore the city before we depart for the actual tour. Also have you taken a look at the optional excursions? A bit pricey for the bungie jumps, anyone doing all three in queenstown? Just gauging if it will be worth it.
Here’s a listing of the hotels on the shortened tour. Hopefully this gets displayed correctly.

Well looks like this is definitely a fully booked trip then, didn’t know there will be combo trips being merged into one. Have any of you thought about what optionals you will be putting your NZDs down on, as awesome as it may be, the $ do add up fairly quickly for the adventure sport optionals.

Hey guys! Josh, I found you on FB and Rosie, I “liked” the page. I’m on the Grand Adventurer starting Nov. 13 or 14th or whatever…I’m a bit confused with the time change and whatnot, so I’m just concerning myself with getting ON the plan on Nov. 11 from North Carolina. lol. I can’t wait! Can you guys help me pack? I have NO idea what I really need to bring. One bag is hardly enough for my shoes, let alone cold medicine, blow dryer and a laptop! Can you guys help? What kind of backpack are you bringing? What are you doing about money? Using a credit card? Getting an NAB Gold BAnking Visa Card? Getting NZ dollars before you leave and carrying around NZ cash? I feel like I’m in a mad scramble to get my stuff in order before this trip. Any help you can offer is much appreciated!

Oh sheesh, it looks like the trip is less than a month away. Yay!!! Jess, i’m pretty sure all of us has planned away. first thing off make sure you bring a travel adapter or go buy one. Our U.S. plugs don’t work over there without em. Second bring spare batteries for your camera. and then there are a thousand of different things to remember about, but luckily you’ve read the forums on suggestions of what to bring. Even though it’s spring time over there i expect it still to be a bit chilly so i’m bringing a jacket and long pants for hiking.
