Liverpool

So I have a week in the UK before my tour starts and I wanted to take a trip to liverpool. I was just wondering what is the best/cheapest way to get there.
Ive had a look on a few websites and the cost of a coach or train just seems stupid (60 pounds???)
So if anyone could shed any light it would be much appreciated

Take a look and see if there are any package tours out to liverpool. They will offer transportation, a guide and maybe a hotel too. It might work out cheaper.

Elise, you can try a train.
The national rail website gives all the departure times from London’s Euston station, I think it’s abou 30 pounds if you book an advance ticket and 60 pounds if you buy it on the spot, it’s approximately a 2 to 2.5 hour ride by train.- 0 people like this
