The Shengen visa is only needed if you’re traveling over 3 months, so you’re fine unless you’ll be traveling after. not sure about the Egypt and Turkey for Aussies though.

Hi there,
I’ll be doing the same tour but on March 28. Am leaving next week!!!! Australians don’t generally require a Schengen Visa for travelling throughout the European Countries signatory to the Schengen Convention for a period of 90 days (within a six month period). After that you will require to purchase a Schegen Visa.
The only thing you would probably need to consider is if you have already spent any time already in these countries on a previous trip. Your best bet is to contact the Embassy or Consulate of the countries you are travelling to.
For turkey and Egypt i plan to purchase my Visa’s on entry to each country and don’t anticipate any troubles.- 0 people like this

Hi there,
I did this tour last year, it was amazing! One of the best decision I’ve made. You will have a blast.
I’m from Sydney and had the same worries last year.
Visas for Aussies:
You will need one for Egypt and one for Turkey. You can buy both at the border. However I got my Egyptian one before I left as I didn’t want any hold ups, when I arrive about half of us had them and the others bought them there without hassle. Not sure of the price, it was cheaper to get there, but can’t remember by how much.
Turkey I got at the border – it was the only way I could get it. It was 15 euros.
Hope this eases your worries!
