went on Road to Athens in August and it kept getting progressively hotter. Italy was hot! venice was hot, florence was hotter and rome was the surface of the sun! greece was also extremely hot. did rain some in Paris but not too bad.

It’s kinda similar to the US. It depends on where you are. London is a bit North of NYC – so the summers are a bit cooler, the winters are a bit milder, but still cold. But if you’re in Italy it’s hot the summer, cold in the winter, but probably closer to mid-atlantic temperatures. If you want a full weather I like the Weather Underground website for travel planning.
