Accomodation inAthens September

I am looking for accommodation in Athens for 1 night.
This is early September after my tour. The accommodation suggested is the Hermes hotel.
Any other recommendation for a place to stay. Not too expensive, safe and close to public transport for the airport.

I’ve read a lot about Athens Backpacker Hostel and it sounds awesome, that’s where I’m planning on staying in September after my tour ends
