Hi,
I am sure you will be fine. You can still socialise with everyone, and if you explain why you don’t wish to drink or eat pork the majority of people will respect that. The only thing I could think of that may be a problem is if your food must be Halal. You may have to hunt around a little to find things you can eat, as I am not sure how many cerified Halal restaurants are in some of the places you will visit. I hope you have an awesome trip!- 0 people like this

it will be fine! i went to europe in may and a lot of people didnt drink but they would still go out to the bars and just drink water. I would suggest still going out so you can still be part of the group. Finding halal food shouldnt be a problem in europe. when iwas in france/amsterdam i saw a lot of halal restaurants. dont worry!

When i first booked the tour my travel agent asked me if there were any special dietary needs so as they can contact contiki direct before the tour. I suggest you calling them and letting them know the things you cant eat so they can be prepared before you tour.
As for drinking – i haven’t been on a tour before and i don’t really drink much but i will still go out with everyone so i still feel like part of the group..- 0 people like this

Hi there! I’m sure you’re quite excited about you holiday! I got back from my Contiki about 3 days ago! I also don’t eat pork – this wasn’t a problem. Wherever we ate, whether at the hotel or outside restaurants – there were always options! Alcohol – you do not have to drink to have a good time. Many people don’t end up drinking as ALCOHOL is ridiculously priced. And – if you do end up going out with the friends you make – you can always have a virgin cocktail – they’ll make it the same and just remove the alcohol! I spent most of the nights sightseeing and shopping….GOOD LUCK and enjoy your holiday!
