Wanting to visit DELPHI on the GIH

Okay, I'll be doing my UE tour before I start on my GIH tour. The first tour I will have approx less than two days in Athens. So, I do get a chance to see all the main attractions.
Now, I'm thinking of visiting Delphi for the ancient Temple of Apollo for a 1 day tour.
Has anyone done this before?? Is it worth visiting Delphi?? Is there any other places near Athens thats worth looking?
Any suggestions would be awsome.
