Excluding optional extras, how much do people spend on average per day in NZ$?

As I know people will come back with 'all depends on how much you drink', how much does a pint etc cost? I've got a spare mobile phone that is unlocked and can be used on any network that I intend to use in NZ instead of my normal UK Contract phone.

Hey there Tony, Im not sure what people spend generally in New Zealand while they are over here, but being from Nz I can tell you that in clubs and stuff you can expect to pay around $5-10 nz for a pre-mixed or bottled drink, sometimes more if you want a coctail or shaker and sometimes more. To buy a box of 18 beers you can get them for around $20 nz. If you go to local pubs you can probably get a beer for about $4-5 nz

Only our Vodafone network has sim cards over here and they cost $35 each.

I bought a Vodafone sim at Auckland airport when I flew in and it was perfect…
