I know that it isn't the most recommended time of year to go because of being during the typhoon season, but it is the only time I have available.

Nah go for it.
I’ve been there then and the advice is watch the locals.. They always know best.
Your insurance will cover you for most eventualities it is true but it wont compensate for the discomfort, but the chances of it being that bad are slim, DEFINITELY worth the risk, its a beautiful time of the year..- 0 people like this
