Hi, my name is C.Y. I'm 24, been living in Arizona for the past year but originally come from the Philippines. I posted this on the Meeting Place section but I guess that place doesn't get as many visitors....
I'm thinking of doing this tour either at the end of the year or in February of next year. It would be nice to touch base with those who have been on this tour or even those who are also in the planning stages like me.
I'm also wondering about how New Orleans is faring after 2004. I have a friend who grew up there and I've always wanted to go because it seems so atmospheric, hypnotic, and rich in culture. Any thoughts on the present condition of New Orleans?

You’re right – it would be nice to go on optional tours that show both faces of New Orleans, before and after Katrina. Were you in New Orleans with Contiki or was it an entirely different trip?- 0 people like this
