Optional excursions - any recommendations/advice/opinions?

Hey everyone

I am going on the European Discovery in June (around the corner - cant wait!! )and these forums are sooooo helpful! Thanx to all of you for the great info and advice.

I want to find out what you experienced travellers think of the various optional excursions....

Which ones are worth it?
What advice you could give new travellers?
Your opinions?
Any recommendations?

for instance .... Moulin Rouge or the Nouvell eve in Paris?

  I just got back from Euro Vista and ate at Sea Palace in Amsterdam and it was perfectly fine. The service was good and the food was really good too. It was also our last stop on tour so everyone went and it was a fun experience.
