Hi all. My name is Gavin and im planning on going on this trip. Im from Adelaide and will be flying out from Sydney.
Can’t wait to go on it.
Whats the average amount of cash people take with them?
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
If anyone wants to contact me my email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Gavin, last time i went to Europe, i did a 37 day tour. I took ten thousand dollars worth of travellers cheques and only spent about 7 or 8 thousand of it. I’m only planning to take 10 with me this time and have a little in reserve if needed.
You must be a big spender.
I have budgeted for roughly 60 euro a day(as a friend told me, who regularly goes to europe.) plus extra for the optional activities the tour offers.
I’m hoping that’ll get me through.
Not really a big spender. That money was in Australian dollars. So after doing every optional extra and paying for them in the local currency and then buying souveniers and food and drinks and things i might need like toiletries, it all added up and with the currency conversion, it add up.
If it was euro I would worry.
Im just trying to get enough to have fun and not go overboard.
Looking forward to seeing everyone over there.
I don’t intend to go overboard either. Just take enough so i can travel comfortably and have lots of fun without having to worry about money.
Unfortunatley I cant go on this trip as all positions are taken.
So now im off and BOOKED onto the 12th of August trip. Even though it isn’t a guarnteed departure.
I’m Kelsey and my friend Lisa and I (both 23)will be taking this tour. We’re both from Manitoba, Canada, but I’ve been living in Galway, Ireland for the past 9 months, and she’s been living and travelling in England for the past 2. Can’t wait to meet everyone!
