Tours of Vatican City & Museums

Anyone got any advice on visiting the Vatican? Is it better to stand in the mile long line waiting to get in than to pay for a guided tour and how long do you have to wait? Which are the best tour companies to go with and how much to they charge? I've looked at a couple and they seem very expensive... any help would be very much appreciated!

Catherine I was just about to post and ask the same question! Did you like my million and seven emails?

But I also want to add…

Should we do the same for the Forum and Coloseum?

We are on the same trip and are meeting at the hotel and are booking all of this together!

So right on the Vatican website I found tours that are 2 hours for the Vatican/Sistine Chapel that are at 10:30. Sound right? 29.50 Euro. Here was the website
