Hi

I'm going on the European Panorama tour on Sept 4th and trying to budget my money and decide what optionals to do. I was just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the following optionals offered through Contiki:

Paris: Moulin Rouge (dinner and show)
Barcelona: Flamenco show at Tablao de Carmen
Monaco: Monaco Restaurant
Florence: Tuscan Evening dinner
Florence: Space Electronic Disco
Rome: Vatican Tour
Pompeii: Guided Tour
Corfu: Dinner and Greek dancing
Corfu: Caique cruise (George's Boat?)
Venice: Gondola ride
Venice: Walking tour
Venice: Venetian restaurant
Vienna: Schnaps museum
Vienna: Dinner and Mozart concert
Austrian Tyrol: Bike tour
Swiss Alps: Mt. Titlis cable car ride to the top for a view
St: Goar: wine tasting
Amsterdam: Volendam restaurant
Amsterdam: Canal cruise

ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I would say do all of them except:

    -Florence space electronic disco
-Vienna mozart concert (you can find much cheaper tickets to other concerts)

-The Moulin Rouge show was very unique and had a lot of French culture to it. Everyone enjoyed it.
-Barcelona flamenco show: Awesome and very cool dances. Textbook spanish
    -Monaco restaurant: nice formal dinner
-Florence tuscan evening dinner: pretty good italian food and had dances and performers, with music as well
-Rome vatican tour: definitely do this if you want to see vatican city and everything within it
-Pompeii guided tour: again worth it
-Corfu: unique dinner and greek dancing is very unique lol
-Venice gondola ride: no ifs or buts, have to do it
-venice walknig tour: if you want to see some history and culture, then for sure
-Venice venetian restaurant worth it for some quality food
-Vienna schnaps museum: cool to check out and a bit of fun as well
-Austrian tyrol: awesome views and a good way to check out a bit of well known Austria
-Swiss Alps: awesome views and a great place to take your camera
    -Amsterdam volendam restaurant: cool restaurant
-Amsterdam canal cruise: awesome cruise, mini party in a way, also got to check a lot of the city as well while cruising which was obviously sweet

Hope that helps. I have to say as well I know it’s hard to accept this but I realised when traveling not to budget. You don’t know when you’ll be back and you’ll have heaps of memories that you want to keep with you forever. When you get back to reality it will not be a good place. Go over, enjoy it, make the most of it. That’s my recommendation any way Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->. You only live once.

It looks like this guy/girl is not finished yet though….
