I will be travelling from Germany to London before the Contiki tour and am just wondering if anyone out there knows the best method and the cost for doing so. Am I better flying from Germany into London or catching the train? Any advice would be great! Smiler

Hi, I’m living in Germany at the mo and it is vey easy to fly to London. Most big cities have an airport or one close by. Check out: airberlin.com, germanwings.com, ryanair.com, easyjet.com.
I think that you could probably find a whole heap more budget airlines. But remember that most of them don’t fly to Heathrow, they go to Stansted and Luton.
I looked into taking the train and it is comparativly more expensive and it takes a lot longer. I don’t think that is really worth it unless you want to see the European country side.

    Hope it helps G

Hey thanks G. Yeah considering that I won’t have a whole heap off time I will probably end up flying over. Thanks for the tip though!
