Living in Europe - Post tour - What to take?

Im planning on doing the working holiday thing in the UK after my tour and i know a lot of people will probably be doing the same, setting themselves up somewhere in the UK or Europe.... so just wondering, considering i'm trying to set myself up there and start a life there, what do you take with you?! Any "living" gear like hairdryers etc i dont really wanna take on my tour but if i have them here at home i dont really wanna have to buy things again over there...
Would it be best to get all this gear sent over or is there a place you can leave things while your on tour?
