  The lowest it has gotten to so far is -15 degrees up in edinburgh. As long as you layer clothes, it’s not really that bad.
  As for april temps, it’s still not going to be terribly warm so I’m kind of doing a mix of summer and winter clothes.

  You actually get used to it after a while. As long as you have a good winter coat and good waterproof shoes it’s fine.
  I think I’ll just keep it relatively simple for my packing though. Went on a contiki in 2009 and took way too many clothes that I never wore.

  Don’t worry too much. I did a tour in 2009 in the US and only found 2 other people on the forums before the tour. There were 50 people on the tour in the end!
