  East one is way better – Phuket is ****, the islands on the Eastern side of Thailand are 1000x better + they have full moon parties.

  I think both tours sound great! Although they each seem to only be offered at certain times of the year… So I think my decision will be made for me as I need to time my holiday in January. So the West will be the tour for me <!--graemlin::)-->

  I decided on the EAST tour. God knows why I thought Phuket would be any good. I spoke to a friend who is travelling asia at the moment, and he said don’t bother with Phuket, and do teh east tour. So I’m going to book the east tour for June. Thank you all.

  Hey everyone! I had a blast on the East tour in June. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to decide between the two!

  I am now looking at dates for the West islands tour. I really want to go over christmas period but it is fully booked :( I called contiki today and they said if someone cancels I may get a place, but I have to keep watching the website… so i’ll keep trying for 25th December… otherwise I’ll do in the new year.
