Eastern Mediterranean Cruise Aug. 25th or Sep. 8th???

I'm looking to book this trip Aug. 25 or Sept 8th. I'll be flying from Los Angeles. I'm going solo and its my first trip with Contiki!! Is anyone else on that trip??

Oh and btw apparently Sep isnt as good to go because its the end of the season and things are quieting down
