To those that have previously been to Hopfgarten, what's the situation with ATM's in town?
Are traveller's cheques a better option?

They have three ATM in the town centre, which is a 5-10 min walk from the ski slopes.

Its just euros in Austria right?
We are planning to use a credit card that works like a debit card where all our money is already exchanged into euro’s before we leave Australia. It works wherever Visa is accepted, and there are only reload fees…..
