Royal National Pre-Tour

10 Jun 2010 C_Jade said

I am arriving in London 4 days early to do some sight seeing before heading out on European Inspirations, departing Nov 1, travelling solo. What is the Royal National Hotel like? It is budget accommodation, is it worth staying there or perhaps looking elsewhere for those 4 nights?

Thanks.

It’s just a typical run-of-the mill budget hotel. At the end of the day, you get to sleep somwhere close to the main centre of London for cheap. It does the job, and for the price you get what you pay for. It’s up to you whether you are there to see London or to see your hotel room?

you share a room with another person doing a contiki tour. not always the tour you are going on though.

It’s pretty basic accomodations. But for the price it’s fine. If you’re looking for something a little nicer you’ll pay a lot more money. If you’re looking for something cheaper, the Generator has been pretty popular in the past.
